Wedding Guidance

Katy is getting excited about her wedding to James next May, and it seems as if there is always something to be making decisions about so they went off to one of our wedding exhibitions to get some inspiration…

“We had a great time at the Manchester Central Wedding Show; I took my dad, step mum, aunt and they loved it! We got lots of ideas from the photo album to venue dressing.http://www.theukweddingshows.co.uk/wedding-shows/manchester/central.html It was nice to look around and not have to work.

We booked the entertainment and something a little extra for the guest during the photographs in the park, which is a big surprise, not even best friend, head bridesmaid knows! So you will have to come back after the wedding to find out.

The RSVPS have started coming back – we did a small tag with a bit of ribbon on the top and very small daisy on the side which are so cute, in-keeping with the invitations! So we will have to sit down soon and look at the table plan.

Pre Wedding Course with vicar

We recently joined a Pre Wedding Course with our vicar and two other couples. We have never met this vicar as our church vicar has left and he is kindly stepping in for him. We were not sure at first what we would get out of the course, but we thought it would be nice to meet him and join the group to find out. Its only 1 hour over four Monday evenings, and the last one is next week. We have been chatting about what a marriage is and how things might change or not. Also what god thinks of marriage and how you should behave once you have made that commitment to each other, the vows you say on the day are for life and you should be 100% committed. We do little questions and surveys rating them 1-5 and then swapping with each other and see if you are on the same wave length, luckily we are ha! ha! We will be discussing vows and hymns for the church next week…….

I have finally found my beautiful ring – 18ct white gold band with clustered diamonds which matches my engagement ring. Its now sitting in its box at home which is a sin, jewellery should be worn I can’t wait!”
